Kajang Food: Aunty Lan Homemade Noodle

Whenever the boyfriend and i crave for something homey or light, Aunty Lan/Lan Jie Noodle would be our go-to!

Located at the shoplot near Pearl Avenue at Sungai Chua, Aunty Lan Homemade Noodle, though has a humble interior designs, offers a range of incredible delicious homemade noodles which is perfect for a simple and light meal.

And this is coming from a person who doesn't really like noodles. I'm perfectly fine with meehoon and thick pan mee; in love with thick meehoon and kuey teow but hated wantan noodles, yellow noodles or thin pan mee. But, Aunty Lan's noodle has this Q-ness in it that i find absolutely delicious!

For every flavour available on menu, you have 5 choices of noodles to go with: Pumpkin Noodles, Hand Tear Noodles, Fine Noodles, Instand Noodles (no perservation) and Handmade Meehoon.

For every noodle order, you can also upgrade it into a set meal which includes: a slice of cake and a drink of your choice. (Their durian cake is quite yummy!)

There are also sidelines available on menu too. My favourite is Fu Chuk!

Here, there are 3 pieces of Fu Chuk altogether. Each piece costs RM2.00.

It's super crispy and it has meat paste inside!

This is my favourite order: Bitter Melon Pork Soup Noodle (RM9.00) with fine noodles.

The soup base is so rich with the flavour of bittergourd and tomato. Inside you will find two mushroom balls and pork slices - definitely non-halal. Loving the soup base to bits!

Their mushroom ball is another reason we keep coming back! It's sooo delicious and the texture of the balls tells you it's definitely freshly homemade. I'm considering buying some raw balls from them the next time i hold a steamboat.

The boyfriend's favourite is this: Mushroom Pork Ball Dry Noodles (RM7.00) with fine noodles. He orders this every. single. time he visits Aunty Lan, for 9 years!
